Cargill demonstrates its ambition to grow in the Turkish market with its new premium chocolate brand VANOVA™
VANOVA™ is the premium professional chocolate brand produced by combining Cargill’s global expertise and long-standing experience in Türkiye, offering consistent performance, superior quality and versatile use in every application.
Cargill has introduced its premium chocolate brand VANOVA™ to the Turkish market, specially developed for professional chefs, pastry chefs and the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafes) sector. As a reflection of Cargill’s innovation, quality and chef-focused product development approach, VANOVA™ brings together the company’s global cocoa and chocolate expertise with the needs of professionals in Türkiye.
Carrying the heritage of a brand with roots dating back to Antwerp Belgium in the 1880s, VANOVA™ is today produced in Türkiye with Cargill’s global cocoa supply chain assurance and chocolate expertise. Providing a solution to one of the biggest challenges in professional kitchens, which is quality variations from batch to batch, VANOVA™ prioritizes the same taste profile, the same fluidity and the same superior performance in every use.
The brand’s Black Diamond 55 (bitter), Coral 35 (milk) and Pearl 29 (white) couverture varieties are designed to deliver consistent results in all pastry applications from ganache to praline, from coating to ice cream.
The recipes of VANOVA™ were developed by the master chefs of Cargill’s global concept center House of Chocolate in Belgium and research and development specialists. With its clean formula containing 100% cocoa butter, ideal fluidity level and perfect tempering features, VANOVA™ offers chefs freedom of creativity in every application from the finest and most delicate decorations to the most intense ganaches.
In a study conducted with 200 chefs by the independent research company Akademetre Research, VANOVA™ earned strong appreciation and proved its suitability for the Turkish palate.
Chef İbrahim Yıldız, who tested the product in his own kitchen, commented on VANOVA™ as follows:
“Overall, the product delivered a performance that exceeded our expectations. It has a well-balanced profile that allows it to be used comfortably across a wide range of recipes. The tempering process is particularly important for us, and in this regard, the product’s workability was remarkably good. It delivered stable and reliable results in terms of texture, shine, and snap. Additionally, its melting and fluidity characteristics enabled us to achieve homogeneous and smooth results in ganache and coating applications.”
Highlighting that VANOVA™ is well-suited for professional kitchen use, offers consistent quality, and delivers strong price-performance value, Yıldız stated that they will continue to use VANOVA™ in various recipes in their kitchen and maintain their collaboration.
