History
1989 Cargill purchased wet corn milling facility located in Pendik, Istanbul to
produce glucose sweeteners and starches.
1992 The new head office is opened in Istanbul.
1995 Hazelnut Processing Facility is established in Adapazari,
1997 Iron and steel trading commences.
1999 With the business cooperation established with Rota Denizcilik ve Ticaret
A.S., a grain storage silo and port facilities are established in Yarimca
and launched into operation.
2000 Investment in wet corn milling facility in Orhangazi is completed and
production activities start.
2002 With the acquisition of the Cerestar business, 50% of the Pendik
Industry (PNS) shares owned by Cerestar in Turkey is transferred to Cargill.
2006 Cargill sold Hazelnut processing facility in Adapazari.
