Environment
Cargill Foods Turkey will improve total environmental performance continually in line with prevention of pollution approach, promote waste reduction, decrease greenhouse gas emission and fresh water usage, improve energy efficiency, and prefer renewable resources. We will train our employees to be aware of all environmental impacts relevant to their works. Cargill Foods Turkey will design, construct, maintain and operate facilities to protect human and physical resources; provide and require use of adequate protective equipment and measures, and insist that all work, however urgent, be done safely. We will decrease reportable injury rate by implementing Behavioral Safety Program and Cargill Combined Audit Protocol. Target is zero accident.
Food and Safety
Cargill Foods Turkey is committed to provide safe food and feed for people and animals. We will apply our food safety policy not only for one unit or level, but all units-production, storage and transportation and with complete meaning. We will choose our suppliers for their ability to meet our requirements for safe saw materials and ingredients. We will assist our external customers in developing customer solutions in the area of food safety. Our food safety system will be revised periodically at certain time intervals and we will guarantee continuity of our systems with effective communication. While supported measurable targets, management will provide the resources necessary for employees to carry out their individual responsibilities to provide safe food and feed.
